Today, my boys, friends, and I participated in the Atlanta Out of the Darkness Walk for suicide prevention, and this one was personal. 💚

We were given different colored beads representing different experiences, and the GREEN bead stood out to me the most.

At one point in my life, I battled a very dark depression. I found myself in a place where giving up on life crossed my mind. But through prayer, faith, and holding on to the hope that one day I would be able to tell my story, I kept fighting. Today, I am grateful to still be here to share it.

I walked today for those who have lost loved ones, those who have struggled with suicidal thoughts, and those silently fighting battles nobody knows about. I also wanted my boys to understand the importance of mental health, compassion, and being there for others.

Please check on your people. Make the call, send the text, be a voice, or simply be a listening ear. You never know how much that one moment of kindness could mean to someone.

Prayers to everyone fighting their own battles. You are not alone, your life matters, and your story isn’t over.

I’m thankful God brought me out of my darkness so I can be a light for someone else. 💚🙏🏽

Y’all, I am one PROUD MAMA! 🥹❤️ My oldest son, Elijah, just got his FIRST JOB! 🙌🏽🎉 What makes me even prouder is that HE came to ME and told me he wanted to work and start saving his own money. 🥹❤️

It’s something about watching your children grow up and start thinking about their future. The fact that he wants to work for what he wants, learn responsibility, and save his own money lets me know that some of the things I’ve been teaching him are starting to stick. 🥰💪🏽

As a mother, I don’t just want to raise boys. I want to raise responsible, independent young men who understand the value of hard work, discipline, and money management. I want them to know that nothing in life is just handed to you, and there is something special about being able to say, “I worked for this!”

Elijah, Mommy is SO proud of you! ❤️ This is just the beginning of many great things ahead of you. Keep being motivated, keep setting goals, and keep believing in yourself. Never stop working toward the things you want in life. I’m always going to be right here cheering you on! 🥹❤️

MY FIRSTBORN IS GETTING OLDER, AND MY HEART CAN BARELY TAKE IT! 😭❤️ One thing about me, I’m going to celebrate EVERY milestone, big or small, because these are the moments that make motherhood so rewarding!

Congratulations on your first job, Elijah! 🥳👏🏽 Mommy loves you, and I’m so proud of the young man you’re becoming! ❤️🙏🏽

Not only is it a happy birthday to me, but also a congratulations and a well-deserved pat on my back. 🎉👏🏽

43 years old and stepping into this new year with faith, gratitude, and a whole lot of joy! I started this year trusting God completely, even when I didn’t understand the process. I learned that sometimes to win, you have to lose—to let go, sacrifice, and pay the cost. None of it mattered as long as I knew God had me, and He never failed.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been powerful. Every lesson and setback pushed me closer to who I’m becoming. Through it all, I’ve learned to live, enjoy life, and appreciate the present moment—not just the destination. Growth doesn’t mean you stop smiling, celebrating, or finding joy along the way. 🎉✨

I’m walking into 43 wiser, stronger, and more confident—trusting God, enjoying life, and celebrating every win. Thank you, God, for every closed door, every open door, and every lesson in between. Cheers to 43, to growth, favor, and living life FULLY! 🥂🎂✨

I’m not waiting until the last day of the year, I’m speaking this now…..2025 was a year of lessons, healing, and clarity. I learned to put God first, pour into myself, and protect my children and my peace. I’m leaving behind things that didn’t serve me or love me the way I loved them. Walking into 2026, I ask God to keep my kids and me healthy, covered, and surrounded by genuine love. New year, new mindset, stronger faith, and better days ahead. ❤️💪🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽 #2025 #2026 #newyear #god #viral by @luckie_hope

Sometimes you have to pause and look back—not to dwell, but to appreciate how far you’ve come. Life has a way of teaching you lessons you didn’t know you needed, revealing strength you didn’t know you had, and removing things that weren’t meant for your next chapter. Growth doesn’t always feel good, and reflection isn’t always easy. But when you take a moment to really see your journey, you realize every setback shaped your strength, every delay had purpose, and every change prepared you for something better. Here’s to giving yourself grace for the past, peace for the present, and faith for what’s ahead. #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #fypreelsシ゚ #fypreelsシ゚viralシ #foryou #allblackeverything 💫💕💪🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽 by @luckie_hope

Mr. Rug’s birthday celebration was one for the books! Copper Cove was the place to be at. You never know who you’ll run into there. He definitely brought the people out. A time was had! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 by @luckie_hope
