Well this poster has been revisited and repainted. The electric love cat just keeps evolving. New paint and some new elements on this poster that feels like classic French poster art meets 70s rocker vibes. Well to me anyway :))) by @lucky.amour

A while back a friend of mine gifted me a zippo lighter that belonged to a Vietnam war veteran. It was from a tour in 67-68 and had the inscription “War is hell but actual combat is a son of a bitch”. And that’s what inspired this poster design. I had actually started to do a more photo/painted style render but the raw drawing seemed to have more power and impact for me so I just stopped right here.

I think I will visit a few more of the war zippo lighters. Some powerful stuff in there. Humans are crazy for the suffering we put each other through. The true enemy is war it self.

Here is a snap shot of this months work :)

Sometimes it’s hard to get the brain firing on all 8 cylinders. It just takes the right spark :)

More rough poster art ideas. May need to destroy this one and paint it up. It’s a lucky Motörhead. Fire up.

In this weeks adventure of “tear up your own work just to glue it back together…” Destructive and reconstructive art work. The original poster art I created as a digital illustration.

Been adding some extra layers of street poster to the posters lately :) tear it up and glue it down. Then some extra paint work. It’s amazing how much they change during this process! Hope you enjoy and good vibes to all.

Well this one is off the Paris! Painted a bunch of extras onto this custom order, poster plus paint equals something new! Pics don’t do it justice, but fun times making these custom painted ones :) by @lucky.amour

So far so good. The Matchstick Man lives one day at a time. One spark away from the edge.

Here are some close ups of details that are mostly overlooked in these illustrations :) funny to spend so much time in the little things, but the devil is in the detail so they say. These posters will mean different things to every body- most will see what they want to see. Extra points if you can name the song hidden in the poster! As you can see most of the details are actually pretty loose. I used to get super tight on all these pics but I think the mess may be more human. Well I’m enjoying it for now :)

Beware of Baddies! Don’t let anybody break your vibe. No one can be a better you than you can. Easy one to pick the song hidden in this poster - with a vintage propaganda poster twist. This illustration was made using 100% human.
