Life has taken me in directions I never would’ve imagined. Looking back, I can see how every chapter led me right where I’m supposed to be.

From being a collegiate dancer, studio owner & choreographer, to single mom, esthetician student, and now 5 years into owning my own spray tanning business! 🥹

1. Your legs are TOO SHINY 🪩 Right after shaving, your skin can be extra slick from shaving cream, oils, body wash, or moisturizing razor strips. Spray tan solution needs clean, dry skin to grab onto, and that slick barrier can make the tan develop lighter, unevenly, or basically slide right off instead of sticking.

2. Shaving can leave residue behind! Shaving creams, soaps, oils, and razor strips can leave an invisible film that blocks the tanning solution from absorbing evenly.

3. Your pores can be more noticeable ! Shaving right before your appointment can leave follicles looking more open/irritated, which can cause those little dark “strawberry leg” dots after the tan develops.

4. Freshly shaved skin is more sensitive! A razor removes some surface skin along with the hair. Applying spray tan immediately afterward can sting, feel irritating, or make redness more noticeable.

5. You can get a patchier result!! Tiny nicks🩸, razor burn, dry spots, and irritated follicles can all grab color differently, making your legs look less smooth and even.
