Ahoy! 1997 Weekly Jump Calendar ’97-’98
COWA! • Paifu & José • Straw Hat Luffy • Kenshin
Official Shueisha treasure from the COWA! launch (WSJ 1997 No.48).

Front features Paifu and José.

Back shows Nov ’97–Apr ’98 with early One Piece Luffy art — right after the series set sail in July and before Vol.1 in December. But

A true piece of the pirate dawn and one of the earliest Luffy appearances, yes one of the first appearance!

But the bookstore-counter distribution remains reported but unconfirmed. Happy to own a couple of them. Check them out!

Thanks @mrfeelgood_ @devilfruitdepot for the research!! Lets continue on!!

I’m the man who’s going to become the Pirate King!
There’s just something special about these early cards. The art is so pure, the holo is thick and shiny, and you can feel how much love went into the design back then. This one is C01 and still looks amazing after all these years.
Anyone else collecting the old Bandai One Piece cards? Or do you prefer the newer sets? Drop a 🔥 if this card hits you right in the nostalgia. - @kabzaniki
