POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

JP Kennedy,

When it comes to roots reggae and island soul, he is truly the go to. I first fell in love with The Green’s music back in 2018, when they backed Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic tour at Aloha Stadium. From that moment, I developed a deep connection not only to JP’s music, but also to the brotherhood and spirit of
The Green.

To go from watching one of my hero’s perform at Aloha Stadium to eventually sharing the stage with him at 15 is something I still find hard to comprehend.. this is a full-circle moment I will always be grateful for. I also give thanks not only to JP, but to my brother Leslie, whose guidance, belief, and efforts helped pave the path that led me to this moment. His support played a meaningful role in making this experience possible.

Whatever belongs to the past, let it remain there. A new era for JP is unfolding, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
