Double rainbow with full reflection. Unedited. Instagram’s sizing removed the vertical majesty but you get the idea. Dedicated to #pridemonth taken in Chevy Chase Beach Cabins by @luckylou

Dip & Blossom 4

The clouds obscuring the stars match my cloudy feelings about my place in the creative community, or any community, really. It’s always their party, I’m just watching.

No edits or filters. Taken at midnight with iPhone 12 Pro Max night mode. by @luckylou

Dip & Blossom 3

The cherry blossoms are dying but this kind is popping while the Big Dipper twinkles during this streak of unusually clear night skies.

Unedited, unfiltered, because I want to feature found beauty, although tbh they look even better when I preview them with IG filters, so maybe the commercial version will have some tuning. by @luckylou

Dip & Blossom 2

This represents a view I’ve seen so often as I take late night walks, listening to my valued #NFTArtist community on #Clubhouse, imagining creative possibilities.

The deep space background has a notable flatness to its depth and color that lets the blossoms pop even more.

Shot at 23:28 with night mode. No filter, no edit. by @luckylou

I love how night mode on a clear night allows the stars to appear in the shot, the cherry blossoms to pop, and the subtle blue in the night sky to be revealed.

More notably, I love how things line up: the clear weather, the tree in blossom with no wind to blur them, the stars in just the right place, the moment to notice it all, the notion to capture it, the skill to frame it, and the technology to make it possible.

#BigDipper, inverted, over #cherryblossoms, #shotoniphone 12 Pro Max at 22:54 using night mode. #nofilter, no editing. The full size photo has more blossoms and more sky. Pink cherry blossoms line the bottom of the frame, contrasted against a clear, dark blue, night sky, crowned by an inverted Big Dipper. by @luckylou

This is one of two spacecraft-like beasts that greet me at the summit of my late night walks.
