Our new print ‘Nature Heals’ proved very popular at the Independent Birmingham. Thank you to anyone who bought one of our new designs🙏 It’s now available in our shop, link in the bio.
.
.

'Nature Heals' is a new design exploring grids and the balance of shapes, including a few recognisable Lucky Pablo motifs including birds, trees, leaves, flowers, and a mountain. In our busy modern lives we've recognised the feeling of needing to detox from the digital world, unwind, and get out into the great outdoors. Nature allows us to focus our senses and has enormous healing powers. Our design is a homage and a reminder to enjoy nature and to balance stress.

We love the process of making the coloured shards that appear in our jesmonite coasters and trying to achieve a good @pantone reference.

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍

Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about a jesmonite workshop we will be doing in the near future with the wonderful @imluckystore 🤩 we are super excited about this 😍

We had a great day yesterday completing our mural for @civic_square 🎨

It was really fun working on this 20-metre long design which features lots of nods to Civic Square and the surrounding area 🌼

Thanks to the lovely CS folk for letting us have free creative rein 🤩 we rate these guys and their community focus so much, we always come away with a warm fuzzy feeling after being there. 🥰

Thanks @immykaur @robert_lockley @rizmi_____ @theworldofguy & everyone else who helped & supported 😀

We’ve had fun recently turning some of our bolder, abstract designs into new fabric pieces for our Affinity Collection. So far we’ve made cushion covers and zip pouches, and have been prototyping some neckerchiefs for stylish humans and pooches!

Here’s a little reel of our process from pattern to print. It’s always satisfying to see your designs coming off the screen and into the physical realm 🤩

Saturday’s @bhamdsgn Makers Market was an absolute vibe. So many good makers, creatives and punters at @thejointworks. Thank you to everyone to stopped by to say hi, supported or bought. 🙏🙏🙏 Our new products went down so well.

Beautifully captured by @angela.grabowska 🙏📸

Big love to @luketonge & @danielalcorn & Tash for their hospitality and keeping us topped up with hot drinks all day ☕️🫖 😘🙏

We’re really enjoying seeing our pattern designs coming to life on printed fabrics. We are currently prototyping some bandannas (for people and stylish pooches) - here’s a few mock ups of what they would look like 🤩🤩

Would love your opinion. Shall we bring this product to market?

Hi folks 👋

We’ve had a few new followers recently so we thought it would be a good time to (re)introduce ourselves!

We are Jane (L) and Ally (R), the faces behind Lucky Pablo. We’ve been a bit quiet on here recently, as we are getting married in a week (yay!) and that’s been taking a lot of our attention 😅

We’re looking forward to telling a bit more of our story and sharing some more work after the wedding 😁

Earlier this year we were excited to be approached by WeTransfer, who commissioned us to illustrate their Responsible Business Report. As a B Corp, WeTransfer aims to make a positive impact on the world, supporting issues like diversity & inclusion, creativity, climate change, and employee wellbeing. These issues are close to our heart, so we really enjoyed communicating them through our illustrations.

This reel shows a snapshot of our process throughout the project, from initial sketches and scamps, through to stages of refinement and vectorising. Whilst the final illustrations are digital, we always take a lot of time to work through our ideas using pen and paper - this is a really important part of our process, and it helps us to retain a handcrafted and human feel within the outcomes.

We are really happy with how the report looks, and so glad we were able to bring these important topics - and the ways WeTransfer is addressing them - to life with our illustrations.

To see the full report and insights, visit the link in our bio.

We’ve been busy bees over the past couple of weeks working on lots of different things, one of them being our shiny new website!

We wanted to give our online presence a refresh and to showcase some of our favourite projects from over the last few years, whilst also telling a bit of the story around our project.

We have gone for a simple and image-led layout, with some cute LP shapes which on the desktop and landscape mobile versions can be dragged around 😁

You can find us at luckypablo.co.uk 😊 link in bio!
