Some very belated photos from
🌀Portals: A Choir of Angels and Demons 🌀 and AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: In January I will be embarking on a 6-8 month theology sabbatical in Maine. There are many reasons I’m choosing to do this right now, both personal and professional, but I feel it’s all around the right move. Much is presently in flux, but as of right now my plan is to eventually make my way back to the city once I feel I’ve done what I need to do up there. WHAT THAT MEANS FOR ALL OF YOU: Book me while you can! Come see me commit acts of tomfoolery for your amusement! Come hang out with me! I want to see y’all before I head off to doula school/seminary for the better part of a year and I want to do some freaky shit on stage.

Speaking of freaky shit, catch me in another iteration of the most magnificent interdimensional door in NYC, Portals Turns 1 at @rub_ulad !! I’ll be doing some cool live vocal stuff with an ensemble of phenomenal musicians and performers, not to be missed!! Swipe thru for deetz!

YARD SARD! @glitter_macabre @wrongmeat / @kye.mera @willykilligan, myself, and a few other pals will be doing a little rummage sale/unofficial art pop-up tomorrow at Maria Hernandez. I’ll be getting rid of a bunch of drag and costumes, these photos are only a small sample of the things I’m letting go. Come by for art, jewelry, costumes, vintage clothes, collectibles, old media, and other random freak sh*t. Just looking for good homes for this stuff so prices are negotiable (for my stuff at least). EVERYTHING MUST GO! #nycdrag #dragmonster #dragking #transartist #weirdcore taken in Maria Hernandez Park by @luckypierrenyc

Local Warlock Faces Community Backlash After Conjuring Beasts at Living History Museum 🔥👹

Finally got to check the long standing item of attending the @salemnightfaire off my October bucket list! (Yes I was hand stitching that gambeson right up until entering the gates, why do you ask…) 🎃

Signed the Devil’s Book, presented myself to the silent fortune teller (we love and appreciate Big Witch in this house), met with friends new and known, and came home with some excellent goodies. Had an absolute brilliant time and you can most certainly expect me again ✨

Me and my crazy legs reporting for Duty 🫡

Had great fun bringing this Slutty Spring-Heeled Jack look to my Bucket B*tch responsibilities at @holeshow69 last Friday! Big thank you to @amandamacchiaphoto for capturing my vanity moment (along with plenty of others) 📸

It’s nice to be back in The Clown.

“We have always existed and we will always exist. Try as you may to erase us…”

I’ve waited a bit for my (one of several) big soppy show post partly due to waiting in anticipation for the gorgeous photos from @onesilvertongue in addition to those of the fantastic @encryptedcryptid but here it is:

I have spent this year wandering in my artistic practice, floating through interpersonal relationships, and at a loss about what my future held. I auditioned for @letsmisbehaveplay on a whim because I’d always wanted to work with so many of the artists involved, so I threw caution to the wind to couch surf around Boston and Salem for a month on a poorly planned but profoundly life changing adventure.

At times it was extremely exhausting and difficult both for personal and artistic reasons, but the support of the cast and creative team kept me in the game and helped me focus on honing my craft.

Huge thanks to @lizdiamond18 and @jmrezes for taking this show across the finish line with us, your facilitation and support in helping us grow these characters was invaluable. To the design team who made us look fabulous and transported us to a lush and lavish time outside of our own. To the audiences with whom this show resonated so much with. To @lewdalfred for writing a play with so much heart, giving me a chance to return to theatre with a piece made for and by our people, and mostly of all creating a character who spoke so deeply to me as an actor and a person.

Being able to grow and originate Morris throughout this production has been such a personal experience. I have infused so much of myself into this scrappy but lovable little tantrum of a man and he will always remain so truly embedded in my heart. And NO amount of confinement in my artistic vision for him will ever keep this feisty little upstart down.

I am grateful beyond words to have been involved with this production which has far and away been the most important piece of art I have ever had the privilege to be involved with. I think our trancestors would be proud.
