golden thread for a golden birthday celebration!

and a perfect project to try out my new sticky tearaway stabilizer! when i’m doing bulk name projects like this I like to float 4-5 pieces on the same stabilizer, and the sticky stabilizer made it super easy to swap out the bags without having to redo the basting spray every time. definitely going to be using this a lot more! by @lucy.in.stitches

after & before!! updating grandma’s sweatshirt for mother’s day to include all her newest grandbabies 🥰

i’ve only ever floated my projects (hooping just the bottom stabilizer and attaching the fabric with just basting spray) but had to hoop this one like normal so it would fit in my tiny 2x3” hoop (the names are on the sleeve!)… tell me why i’ve been losing my mind trying to float everything when regular hooping was this easy!! it almost makes me want to attempt hats again 🫣 by @lucy.in.stitches
