meet me in fives! 🌀

I thought this would be fun for you all to learn a bit more about me, I love media so this felt like the perfect way to do it ✨

5 facts about me as well for funnn:

1. reading has always been my main interest
2. I’m autistic (which also means I have hyperlexia which means I read fast but still take it all in)
3. I’ve lived in York for 7 years and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else
4. I am a big swiftie
5. the books that got me into reading were the hunger games

also thank you all for 100 followers already that’s actually crazy, excited to see where this account goessss

evening brain stack cos I heard that’s what the cool girls are doing atm 🫪💗

spending some time in my journals and making more progress on my current read which I am looooving - very intriguing concept and very world-building-heavy right now but I am enjoying it so far!! 🌸

had the absolute cosiest autumnal day in skipton today with my bestie; explored the gorgeous gorgeous woods and stopped in a few bookshops (I did some serious damage but we’ll get to that) 🫪💌

so chilly and so beautiful, west yorkshire goes hard 🌀 10/10 vibes and I will definitely be returning

quiet breaks in the day to journal are my favourite thing 🎞️💌☕️📖

I’ve been spending a lot of time in my pocket journal lately and it’s been so good to get back into writing after a little writer’s-block break 🎀

I will do a little tour of my journal soon because I’ve changed my system a lot lately!! 🌀

I finished reading Fruit Fly today and I genuinely don’t think I will ever be able to articulate my thoughts on this book. harrowing, hurtful and intense are the three words that come to mind 🫪

I feel like there’s so many layers to this book, from morality to abuse to the art of writing, and I know this story will stay with me for a loooong time 🌟

5 stars, but for the love of god, please read the trigger warnings before going into this 🫠
