Soon I’ll be flying back to Bali Baby Home and to the new, rapidly growing Jogja Baby Home in Java! I’ll be raising funds again to support both of these incredible non-profit homes and will be building a brand new volunteer program for Jogja. The volunteer scheme I set up at Bali Baby Home last May is still going — and both programs will focus on getting the babies out of their playpens, supporting their development and stimulation, taking them on outings, and most importantly, surrounding them with love and care from volunteers around the world. Acatenango and Volcán de Fuego for my first ever hike . . . Two adjacent volcanoes in Guatemala. Pachamama showing off her power in the most beautiful way I have ever seen. Made it to base camp. Hiked to Fuego ridge for sunset. Camped on Acatenango overnight. Summited at sunrise. Then hiked the entire volcano back down from the top to the bottom. Physically the most challenging thing l’ve ever done but by far the most emotional and rewarding. I’ve never been more grateful to have @morganayasmeen by my side.
