📔 Voicenote four: being anxiously attached.

I used to be incredibly anxiously attached. Would send big paragraphs and make huge, dramatic declarations, only to go crawling back 24hrs later. Indecisive, immature and insecure, all driven by unhealthy relationship attachment.

I have grown from it and changed, with the help of therapy, yet sometimes when familiar faces crop up I fall back into old ways. It causes me huge amounts of shame, yet its embarrassment that really affects me and makes me change. It’s easy to blame the other person for not giving you what you need, when sometimes you need to ask the question ‘am I being a bit too much here?’

📔 Voicenote three : getting up again

When I was rejected from what I thought was my dream literacy agency, had a skiing accident and lost a friend all in one month, I felt like giving up. My career, health and friendships took such a tumble I felt like a storm cloud was directly over just my head.

I was crushed by my rejection, but in turn grateful I was walking normally after internally bleeding in a foreign country. I was frustrated I missed two weeks of working due to my accident, but thankful my granny is alive so I can still have lunch with her.

A dark period massively changed my perspective. Sometimes you need a lot of rain, to make you grateful for the sunshine ☀️

📔 Voicenote two: Recognising you were wrong.

My ex girlfriend told me she wanted to breakup so she could move to the US single. I didn’t take it well. I felt abandoned and used, so I hit back with my words, hard.

When we lash out in pain, it’s easy to gloss over how we reacted. I always try and reflect on how I’ve spoken to someone, even when I’m hurt, and go back and apologise.

📔 Message one: What am I worth?

Yes, this is a real voice note from a real situation where I couldn’t let someone go. I allowed myself to get hurt over, and over, and over again. Until one day enough was enough.

I’m starting a new series of releasing my (vulnerable & cringe) voice notes to show we all go through the same shit, in hope it will resonate with someone currently stuck on that chapter.

If you keep going back to someone that never chooses you, take this as your sign to choose yourself ❤️‍🩹
(This isn’t about my beloved angel girlfriend, this was a situationship from a year ago bleh)

Today’s Times Magazine. Holy shit.

Hard times don’t last forever, there’s always a way forward, and there is no shame in doing what you have to do. OnlyFans was one of the most enjoyable jobs in one of the darkest periods of my life.

$7.22 Billion was spent on the platform in 2025, and the shame still lands on the creators. Women have always been the product of male desire, men the seller, negotiator and most importantly, the consumer. Why are women cloaked in shame when they take back agency and finally financially benefit? It’s time to back control. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but I know I’m a few people’s dirty martini.

Holiday of a lifetime doesn’t really come close. The spot where my parents had their honeymoon, where we had our childhood vacations, and were I got to take the love of my life on her birthday.
