POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spent all day in Haywards Heath a&e yesterday having been taken in by paramedics at lunchtime & not leaving until 8.30pm.
In that time, I watched, I witnessed, I admired so many "angel" people sacrificing lunch breaks, rest breaks, regular hydration for the sake of helping & treating others. Those that not only needed physical help but also needed care, love, a listening ear & kindness.
Those people put others first before themselves on a daily basis & dont even think twice in doing it. They are "angels" in my eyes ❤️
And yes.....I was sat in a corridor, in an uncomfortable wheelchair for 4 hours forgotten about & unseen. I needed painkillers that were promised straight away but I actually received 2 hours later. I hadn't even been offered a cup of water or a biscuit & i hadn't eaten all day. But....once I was able to advocate for myself in a kind way to these "angels", they couldn't do enough for me 💕
We might moan about our NHS but my goodness we actually have so much to be thankful for & those are the ones at the forefront of all of this, saving lives & helping others. Not those sat in offices on computers, pushing to get more out of these kind souls.
Thank-you Princess Royal A&E Haywards Heath NHS "angels", especially Consultant Andrew, E.N.P George & HCA Matt 🙏💙 by @lucybrunsdon
