Somewhere between childhood and 18, there’s a flip zone.

Your protection needs to go down. Their responsibility, independence, and confidence need to go up. And in between? Friction. The good kind — the “figure it out” kind.

The urge to protect them doesn’t disappear. But if you’re still doing everything for them once they’re in the flip zone, you’re not helping, you’re stalling their growth.

The goal isn’t a friction-free childhood. It’s a Get Real childhood.

Making your parenting about you is not what your child needs.

They need a get real childhood where the emphasis is on their growth and development.

I’ve got you.

Let’s go!

That’s right, I said what I said…

“...your OVERBLOWN sense of importance.”

You’re thinking, “wait I used to like her.”
“… wait, why is she coming for me like that?”
“... ummm, she might be right.”

Let’s start with the liking me bit. I’m not here for the likes, I’m here to help, and you know you like that more.

Now, I’m coming for you so hard because I know something you may have forgotten. Your kid is capable of running a marathon so WHY ARE YOU CARRYING THEM?

You CANNOT be wholly and solely responsible for how things turn out in your child’s life. At a certain point they share that responsibility with you and it’s sooner than you might think.

If you know I’m right and you can sense I can help you.

That’s my passion that’s poured into the Total Digital Reset. My parents feel it deep.

So taking my piggy-back/marathon contrast a little further. Let’s say they want to cross that finish line. Well they’d have to get real about training and at the very least lace up and go for a jog around the block.

Problem is today’s kids are not. They are too caught up and distracted by their digital lives.

It’s the #1 thing in their way. The dissociation from real life. In turn their development is hijacked.

So we GET REAL with all of that inside Total Digital Reset.

We take the thing you want more than anything – to guide them to launch powerfully into adulthood and thrive – and we make sure we do everything possible to ensure it happens.

We get real REAL real.

We are the parents who are all in on the real prize.

Kids are wired for this; you just need to flip the switch.

In Total Digital Reset (TDR) we will:
- Understand what’s happening and take our power back
- Protect against harm and prioritize what really matters
- Reset to create new habits so we can get after it in real life.

If you’re ready to watch them run their hearts out with a smile while you proudly cheer them on, comment GET REAL and I’ll send you the details.

Together we got this!

Let’s go! 🙌 by @lucycdot
