And here she is! Eight years in the making if you can believe it 🥴. The initial design came to me on the eve of having babes and then I got a bit er, sidetracked. She is a card that can then be folded by the recipient into a little ornament that can then adorn your mantle piece or tree. Aaaaaand they’re up! I wasn’t sure if was going to do the ol’ baubles this year as me and the fam are actually off and away on a New Zealand adventure for much of December and January, but it would appear I couldn’t resist! Stocks are somewhat depleted after an encouragingly successful Christmas market at the weekend but a very few scrummy ones remain and they are all available in my shop (link in bio)! CLASS OF 2024!

After one epic storm, several power cuts, a Christmas market against all odds and a portly baby, My Christmas shop is finally OPEN. Hurrah!!! There you will find a Host of Angelic Christmas Cards, embossed copper cuties and beautiful baby baubles.

A little late to the party I’ll admit, but better late than never I hope. Final post office run is NEXT MONDAY so fill yer festive boots (of stockings!)!!

Thank you so much to all who have supported me, made purchases, have said encouraging things, shared my work, and generally cheered me on… it means a whole lot to this rather weary, slightly vague, post partum lady who flippin loves drawing and making things but doesn’t have lots of time to do it. taken in Devon by @lucypanes

And they’re here!! Yowzers, I am forever wildly optimistic about what I can get done with a babe in arms 🤦🏻‍♀️. This process has been slooooow. I think we can all agree that the 5th December is a little late in the day to bring out chrimbo cards but hey ho! Two new angelic lovelies to send to a pal or indeed keep for your own tree! I’m going to do my darnedest to get them online in the next couple of days but for lovely local folk, I’m very much hoping to be selling them (alongside some of my lesser spotted baubles!) somewhere in the Dunsford vicinity this Sunday… more news on this SOOOON (it’s a bit of a mad scramble settling on a venue due to the somewhat ‘inclement’ weather forecast this weekend! 🌪️🌪️🌪️) by @lucypanes

Yikes, it’s been a while largely owing to the advent of a little Norah back in February. The result is that studio time isn’t getting much of a look in so I’m attempting to get better acquainted with Adobe Fresco in her nap times, diving in to the digital bit box of inspiration and tear sheets that I’ve been squirrelling away over the years on my desktop. There’s a lot to learn and my brain goes slooow at the moment, but I’m enjoying the play. Here is one such drawing based on a 16th century painting by Jacques ale Moyne of a Pict female warrior. Christmas crafting in full swing over here! I’ve been making these for a few years with old silver foil platters but loving this new Coppery loveliness for Christmas’23 (thank you @makesomethingrosie for the help with sourcing!). And the 2nd (and potentially final) drop of hand painted ceramic baubles in now live on my online shop. After these are gone, there are no more left! As I said in my last post, I’ve been so encouraged by the response I’ve had over the weekend both online and at fayres, and so I go into this week with far less baubles in stock than anticipated! However, I am reminded that December is yet young and I hope to be able to paint a couple more in the coming weeks which I will share as and when. YOU GUYS! I have been both blown away and so encouraged by all of your orders since my shop went live on Thursday night. Thank you, THANK YOU. This little lady has now sold out as a pack of 4 and only 3 singles remain so do hop to it if you would like to get yer festive mittens on one! I’m so sorry if you’ve missed out but I’m considering a restock if there’s appetite for it?? I just need to gauge print turn arounds and feasibility but I will keep you posted. Also, the next (and potentially final) drop of BAUBLES will go live at lunchtime. They too have been selling like hot cakes (again, THANK YOU) both online and at fayres over the weekend so I don’t have quite as many to offer as first thought 😬. Xx
