On this day 56 years ago, Lucy decided it was time for a change of scenery. So, she took a stroll two blocks down Atlantic Avenue to the spot she calls home today. Due to the forecast for severe weather on Saturday, Lucy’s 145th birthday celebration has been postponed until Saturday, August 1st.“Our primary concern is always about the safety of our staff, volunteers, and guests.
