Entramos na 2da semana 💪 by @lud.monaco

Last night, as our film met its audience for the first time, we couldn’t have been more moved by the coincidence of the date.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrated a story that listens to a woman who refuses to disappear — portrayed with luminous strength by the extraordinary Ángela Molina.

Behind the camera, this film was also shaped by an exceptional group of women whose talent, care and intelligence run through every frame.

To all of them, and to every woman who continues to claim her voice, her desire and her place in the world — today we celebrate you.

This is exactly how I felt when @marialorente__ came to me at the beginning of this year with her screenplay and creative deck for THE LAST SONG (La Última Canción) short-film 🎬✨

Shooting with Ángela Molina, Spanish cinema icon, and @pla_albert , legendary Catalan singer, a story that travels through a metro station, a moving train, a studio set, other locations, and dozens of extras… all filmed in just five intense days, on a budget, with two full night shoots, part of a park lit up, in a city where none of the key crew lived... and I thought: why not? 🔥

As 2025 comes to an end, I’m proud to have taken on this journey as a producer for a film I didn't write or direct, a first one for me.

Excited to see THE LAST SONG begin its festival run in 2026 ✨

Easter, 1999. A girl, a church, and the wild truth hiding inside her.

“When Kátia Met Augusta” is a coming-of-age story set during Easter, following Kátia through yet another attempt to make her First Communion, after a string of tragicomic failures.

Determined to please her parents, she strives to follow every rule. But the more obedient she becomes, the further she strays from herself — until something wild and true begins to stir inside.

🎬 Starring Bruna Ribero & Tainá Bizarri 💙

🇬🇧👇

🇬🇧 Looking back at one of my favourite scenes from 'When Kátia Met Augusta', beautifully performed by the brilliant Bruna Ribeiro and Tainá Bizarri — two young actresses with remarkable presence ❤️ What seems like a childhood dilemma often stays with us well into adulthood — if we’re not clued in.

Produced by @mammaromafilms, in co-production with @perlataulada . The premiere is on the horizon 💪✨
