This look leans hard into early-era denim, the kind where fabric, stitching and proportions actually matter.

Up top, JELADO’s 407EXX Type I jacket in LAST RESORT BLACK TAG denim. A 15oz selvedge fabric reconstructed from deadstock XX denim, with all the right early details intact — single pocket, needle-stitched back straps, rolled seams, period-correct thread counts and hardware that feels like it belongs to another time. Purposefully raw, slightly wild, and built to settle in slowly.

Down below, the Age of Longing 301XX. JELADO’s take on an early-50s 501XX, made from their original 14oz LAST RESORT denim. Rope-dyed pure indigo, one-wash, historically accurate pocket shape, one-stroke sewing and custom-developed rivets and buttons throughout. This is denim that’s less about perfection and more about fidelity — how things were actually made.

Layered with Kaptain Sunshine’s Traveller Coat in fine Super140’s wool for contrast, the outfit balances rough denim textures with softness and structure. Finished with Astorflex leather derbies and a Porter Force duffle that leans into military utility.

This one’s all about denim texture and balance.
Wide, deep-rise denim with real weight and character, paired with a clean Type I jacket that keeps the silhouette sharp and grounded.

The OMOTO 0811 is the widest cut in the lineup, with a tailored-inspired structure and a heavy 15.5oz slub-nep fabric woven on vintage Toyoda shuttle looms. The pronounced slub warp and recycled-cotton nep weft give it that uneven, almost raw surface — the kind of denim that fades vertically, slowly, and uniquely. Rope-dyed with pure indigo, one-washed, unsanforized, and built to age hard.

Up top, the Full Count Dartford Type I brings contrast. A boxy early-50s silhouette in 13.7oz Zimbabwe cotton denim — softer, more elastic, and refined from day one. The deep indigo tone and classic pleated front keep it clean, while the cinch-back and period details anchor it firmly in heritage.

Layered with Kaptain Sunshine’s Silk Poly Mil Coat for structure and sheen, this is an outfit where every fabric tells a different story — rough vs smooth, heavy vs fluid, workwear vs tailoring.

An everyday outfit built on pieces that do their job quietly.
