God Loves me. God loves me soo much, because many many years ago, He made sure my bonus sister and I found each other. It was love at first sight. Gaisang has been part of EVERY chapter. She has been present and witnessed some of the deepest most intense moments of my life. Gaisang has offered me sanctuary when I needed to get away. She has held my heart in her hand and protects it fiercely. She is kind, sensitive, honest, gentle, loving, protective, delicate like a flower and a bomb. She’s a creative genius. A generous soul. She is a force. My sister, my lover, my friend. She is stylish, she is funny, and now she is also a fearless adventurer. Thank you for letting me in. For loving me. For praying for me. For piecing me back together. For being there for so many beginnings and endings. I’m so grateful and honoured to witness your highest highs and your lowest lows. You are truly God’s love in human form. I pray that this new year is blessed in every way imaginable. I pray God answers every prayer, even the whispered ones. I pray that you feel His love and warmth in every moment. I pray that He fills your days with His love, joy and peace that surpass all understanding. She’s found her smile again.
I looked forward to turning 40 like some grand shift was going to happen. They’ve said life begins at 40. It’s been but a few weeks and I kind of love it A LOT this side. It’s like a revival and a renewal are happening at the same time. I recognize that the woman I used to be has had a software upgrade but also acknowledging who she was before trauma and pain threatened to rewrite her identity. I choose Joy. I choose peace. I choose healed. I choose love for self, not performing it, but embodying it in everything I allow into my space. I’m so grateful for the refinement of the last 6years. I would have recognized HER otherwise.
Anyway, God is good. I look good. My back is epic, and I’m back to throwing Fits (outfits). #lufunoAt40 #grateful 💛🥰

#BLISS (the first frame captures my essence the entire trip. JOY)
I have cried a lot of tears. And I have smiled big smiles for every tear I have shed. As Psalm 30:11 declared : “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy”

I had packed for my birthday dinner ( a fancy dress) I couldn’t wear my dress to go shopping for groceries, so I came up with a solution fast. My big old scarf as a skirt, his shirt as a top, his bag. some shades to confuse the enemy and the outfit looks intentional 😅.
