Tokyo🖤Eternally grateful for @ryoyoshihara.frail inviting me here to perform with him, @naoki_frail & co. Big up @akiramowatt for introducing me to @daichisekiguchi + @kazufro from @supremenewyork Harajuku. Shoutout @esteban.flores92 for letting me kick it with their band @matamoska. Much love.

Punk rock and hip hop go hand in hand-scope out your local skatepark and see for yourself. Skate video soundtracks became the music many of us fell in love with. First time I heard Red Garland was on Mark Gonzales’ part in Video Days.

Crazy to know I’m a generation away from being a farmer. Learned how to milk a water buffalo from the man who taught my pops.

If my father never immigrated to Sun Valley (LA), I would have been raised on a farm like the rest of my lineage. Life would have been much simpler. Unfortunate circumstance to visit my motherland, but it felt great being in my family’s village and witnessing my grandfather’s legacy firsthand.

Glad I came home when I did. I got unfinished business in NYC+Japan, so I will be back when I’m ready. NYC made me a father and Japan is a dreamland. Shoutout to my homies out there, much respect and see yall soon.

I got a newfound appreciation for the colors and rhythms of life. Work hard and ignore negativity-rinse, wash and repeat. Remember who matters.

RIP Dada RIP Nana RIP Kiran Ma RIP Dipak
