Dragon Ball occupies a HUGE space of my life. I have been watching Goku and friends since I was a little kid, and in all of my notebooks regardless of the class you WILL find a Goku somewhere. Doodled in between math problems or at the back of the notebook where the grades are. I obviously never knew Toriyama-sensei but while I was growing up I was lucky enough to enjoy his works all throughout my life. Thanks to my dad who introduced me to them. I got to know him little by little through his wacky letters and comments. My dream when I was a child was to be what Toyotaro-sensei is, I wanted to draw Dragon Ball. To work with Toriyama. But it never happened or will happen.
.
.
.
I took a while to post because I couldn’t draw. For the life of me I could not pick up a pencil and draw because of how sad I was. But seeing everyone post their art and their experiences really did uplift me. I’m incredibly thankful that I got to enjoy a Dragon Ball era where he was actively present and pumping content for us the fans. When Super started I was in the 8th grade. And now that he is gone I am currently 22. I have met so many amazing friends thanks to his work. People who I call brothers and sisters. And I owe everything I am to Dragon Ball, to Son Goku and to most importantly Akira Toriyama.

--- Gracias por todo Akira Toriyama, descansa en paz.—-
