Celebrating a week of marriage! I’ve heard people say being married isn’t different, especially since we have been living together BUT I feel such a sense of pride and unconditional love calling Chris my husband. We received so many congrats from cast members at all of the Disney parks! Sweet José at Disney Hollywood Studios even gave us glazed almonds on the house! I’ve had the best honeymoon with the best husband. I guess we’ll come home now 🤪 #chrisandlusayido2018 | 📸 @vinluanphotography

I’ve noticed that Piper is completely aware when I’m taking pictures of her. Thankfully she humors me and sits still. Her new favorite spot on the couch is the chaise and it’s perfect because the light from the window makes for such a great photo. I’m also obsessed so Piper has her own Instagram. Follow @piper.the.pooh if you want to see her daily silliness and (more) photos I take of her 😆 #piperthepooh

Can’t believe how easy this was to make 🤯 Side note I did NOT bring gloves to Lowe’s and accidentally cut my finger 😩 lesson learned so I used some at home!

I couldn’t wait to redecorate the little entryway to our bedroom and once I saw the @ikeausa Hyllis styled on Pinterest I knew it was the way to go. They’re only $22 but can easily look so elevated 👌🏼I also filmed myself assembling them but my phone died before I even finished the first one 🫠

I decorated using furniture from our former house but my style has evolved so much in 7 years. I loved what was trendy at the time (modern farmhouse) but it never truly felt like me. Of course as time went on, I allowed myself to really love things, be obsessed with them, be passionate and that’s when my style really started to shine through. Idk what to call it - quirky minimalism? 😂 any ways let’s see what else I can obsess over!

This gap between the end of the couch and the wall was driving me nuts, but this viral @ikeausa side table was the perfect remedy 👌🏼 Am I going back for a new lamp? 😅

I feel like I would’ve finished assembling this so much quicker if I didn’t put Law & Order SVU on lmao

No gatekeeping here! I found these amazing pieces at @3_little_black_birds in Chesapeake. Support local and check them out! Listening to my gut really paid off this time. These two art pieces from Robert Furber’s 12 Months of Flowers collection feel so special. Can’t wait to put these up ☺️

Took forever to decide on a lamp for this corner until I found this one from @ikeausa 💡

I got the Kajplat light bulbs that are Matter compatible and I can adjust the color and brightness all on IKEA Home app too!
