Two marathons in seven months. To know me is to know how much running has transformed me, but more than anything, it’s changed me as a mother. Marathon training has stretched my patience, reshaped my discipline, and reminded me that showing up—on the good days and the hard ones—matters.
I’ve learned to trust the process, to find calm in the miles, and to keep moving when it would be easier to stop. The finish lines were unforgettable, but it’s the 5 a.m. alarms, stroller runs, and little eyes watching that I’m most proud of.

What everyone sees: One race, 26.2 miles, sub 4 hours.

What I see: the 5am wake-up calls, the 259 miles of training, the 39 hours of work no one claps for, the mom of three who still gets everyone ready for school, lunches, practices, appointments, works full-time - and still somehow shows up for friends and family.

The juggling act is the definition of determination.

I’m so incredibly proud of you, you inspire me, our kids and everyone around you to push beyond comfort and chase what’s possible.

The person you become while chasing the goal is better than the goal itself.
