Hey friends, I’m making this post in lights of what most of us know already regarding the 7.4 earthquake that shook the grounds of Colombia once again in the Chocó region and surrounding area and left so much destruction and disparity behind. This touched a very sensitive fiber on myself and I’ll give you some background to understand why.
In 1999 there was a very similar magnitude earthquake that took place in the the very nest I grew up in, Armenia city, coffee region. This earthquake destroyed more than half of my city and left unimaginable emotional and physical damages. Me and my most direct family had the privilege of making it safe and sound, beyond the material damages. This couldn’t be said about even a little further family and, like I said, most than half of citizens and natives of that beautiful land ❤️‍🩹
Armenia did have a lot of damages and people affected on this earthquake to, even in my own family but once again, they were blessed with safety beyond the material damages that are secondary. Not the same luck to the most affected areas, which have a long history of abandonment and lack of resources to recover from such devastating catastrophe ❤️‍🩹
This is why I wanna make an effort to bring attention to that region. In this effort I will be making a raffle to fundraise as much as possible. This cost of the entry will be $30 and 100% of the profits will be donated to @manosvisibles @mercadoandine

Prizes will be :

1. Full day session with me

2. Flash tattoo by me and a t shirt

3. A print of my newest painting
