Building a world, 15 seconds at a time.

I started with AI tools. I ended up learning filmmaking.

This is a first glimpse into Luco as a cinematic world: a fictional rock band shaped through music, editing, sound design, color, rhythm, and storytelling.

The models and workflows kept changing. The real discovery wasn’t how to generate better images—it was how to think, feel, and make decisions through cinematic language.

Psychedelic Plains

A fictional ceremonial figure somewhere between neo-western, psychedelic desert rock, and fashion editorial.

I was exploring how far a character can move through color, costume, texture, and attitude while still feeling like part of the same visual world.

A Depeche Mode cover, in Sumerian?

Never Let Me Down Again | Roxaura at the Ziggurat of Ur

A visual experiment.

Roxaura recites Never Let Me Down Again with part of the text in English and part adapted into Sumerian, among the ruins of ancient Ur.

Wind, dust, heat haze, analog texture, and a young woman lost in thought, holding back tears under the Iraqi sun.

More invocation than cover. More image than explanation.

Not intended as a literal historical reconstruction, but as a poetic collision between Depeche Mode, Roxaura, and ancient Mesopotamia.

I’m building the cinematic world of Luco one shot, one cut, and one layer of sound at a time.

Music, visuals, editing, sound design, and color: bootstrapping a fictional rock band through narrative and cinematic filmmaking.

The tools and workflows kept evolving along the way. But the most valuable thing I learned wasn’t how to generate better images. It was how to direct: framing, rhythm, performance, sound, and emotion.

Pazuzu.

In ancient Mesopotamian religion, Pazuzu embodied the destructive wind—but he could also repel other demons and protect homes, pregnant women, and children from Lamashtu.

Destroyer and guardian.
Threat and amulet.
A dangerous force invoked against forces even more dangerous.

That contradiction is what interests me.

Within the world of Luco, Pazuzu is not simply evil. He is protection with teeth—a fitting presence for Señor del Viento.

No More Tears: Unicorns are real, like Roxaura 🦄

I’m building music videos for a fictional rock band called Luco, fronted by Roxaura—my digital daughter.

I loved @itschimarie’s unicorn artwork so much that it inspired this short music video and the strange encounter between these two creatures.

This Luco cover is based on the version from the unreleased 1989 The White Room – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, rather than the later 1991 album version.

The Luco cover arrangement was developed through an AI-assisted music workflow.

I’m considering expanding this concept into a full-length cinematic music video.
