I couldn't be more thrilled to share this behind-the-scenes timelapse compilation of "SHLB" virtual production! From the very beginning, we dreamt big, but little did we know just how far this journey would take us.

My first month at VFS! 🎬 🍁

Halfway the first term of the 3D & VFX program, I can surely affirm that's being one of the greatest experiences I ever had in my life, being in a wonderful city, making creative and inspiring friends, in a very welcoming environment.

This #earlywork is one of my first matchmoving studies I ever developed, back when I was 16 y/o, exploring light and rendering concepts, as well as simple fluid simulations. The project was developed over a footage of my desk, using a self-generated HDRI enviroment for reflections.⠀

This #earlywork is the first VFX study I ever developed, back when I was 13 y/o, learning the essential concepts of compositing and matchmoving, as well as the V-Ray (Cinema 4D) and Nuke workflows.

The project was developed over a short homemade footage, and was my first experience with EXR multi-pass rendering.⠀

$[Work in Progress] - This project is an advanced study I'm developing in my spare time, simulating a building explosion, made with a procedural workflow in #houdini, exploring some new techniques. ⠀ ⠀ The project makes use of RBD, Particles and Pyro simulations, complex constraints relationships and material-based fracturing, as well as compositing and matchmoving processes. Cryp2GO is an open-source hardware prototype developed as the final project of my High School IT Program, being a cryptocurrencies cold-wallet built on #arduino and based on the Firefly Project. ⠀

The development included the branding design, product concept, 3D printing, PCB design and Arduino programming / assembling. The hardware is bluetooth based and can pair with a wallet app for transaction validations.⠀

This face tracking experiment, is one of my first #pftrack studies developed in 2017, with the purpose of experimenting alternative workflows, especially with somewhat challenging shots. ⠀
⠀
In this study I experienced the application of deformable groups, obtaining an animated mesh and extracted textures of a face. Face modeling was done with the FaceBuilder plugin (NukeX 10), and the tracking made on PFTrack 2012.⠀
