In 1966, Co Rentmeester from Life Magazine photographed Indonesia's first lady who stood next to a statue made by my grandfather.

Fun fact: The daughter of the painter who painted the old lady in the first pic, married a man whose mother was the niece of the last High Commissioner of the Crown in the Dutch East Indies in 1949.
