Rollin’ on and movin’ forward is the freedom found in Christ.
Turn to and trust in and walk by Him, like your life depends on it.

“A joyful heart is good medicine” by @luke.prevatte

Homes were destroyed, lives were taken, families are left broken.
Beautiful neighborhoods, such as Driftwood, have lost all their color, all their homes, all their unity.
While our lives may not seem anywhere near perfect and we may not have everything we want, some of us not even everything we need, we all have a Savior. One who died for us.

Job had everything he could ever want. Shortly after, he lost everything imaginable. His belongings, his family, his freedom. Everything.
Everything except his faith in our Lord. As impossible as it seems, he endured through the gut wrenching loss, trusting in God, even in the face of adversity.
When you have a relationship with God, you have an unbreakable rock of hope in your life that will forever hold you.

Even when it may seem like everything is ruined or taken from us in our lives, God leaves the beautiful things and reveals himself in them.
Just like how we were able to relocate the few flowers and plants that remained after the storm, God picks us up and brings us to places where we can live and grow, transforming us into something unimaginable.
And He doesn’t stop there. He uses us to reveal himself to others, just like how he used the surviving flowers to reveal himself to me.

No matter how big the storm may seem, no matter how little you’re left with, remain faithful to God, knowing He will never abandon you.

•Thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside each one of these amazing people, for the church that housed us in Asheville, for the people we met throughout the week, and for God being faithful and glorious, always. taken in Asheville, North Carolina by @luke.prevatte
