The latest painting "Lobster" 30 x 24" Gouache water color on paper. I like the paint and will probably try a few more due to the niceness of stacking it easily. #painting #lobster #art #gouache by @luke__78__

"Desdemona in May 1921" 3' x 2'. Oil on canvas. That year there was the biggest electromagnetic storm of the 20th century making the northern lights visible to the equator. This is how I imagine it may have looked if you were an Astoria fisherman standing in the river at night with your horses seining some Chinook salmon. A restarted failed painting. #astoria #horse #seining #Columbia by @luke__78__

I threw this giant pickling pot/crock for my niece Caroline and her husband Jeferson around their wedding day. Who knows when it gets to them as they live amongst the turtles and jungle creatures by the equator somewhere. Two lids, one Humpback whale handle and one Megalodon tooth handle. Neither one was quite perfect but that's okay. Dakota white clay with blue flow and rutile glaze. Yeah I spelled his name wrong when I scratched it in, cut me some slack. 🇺🇸 🇨🇷 by @luke__78__

Everglades Roseate Spoonbill #1. Imagined scene. 30" x 40". 80% complete. When we were living next to the Everglades we'd see these colorful birds up in the trees, especially along the road we'd take when driving out to see crocodiles basking in Flamingo. by @luke__78__
