This was the year that I came to finally go through probably the greatest epiphany a human being can experience: there is no such thing as giving or receiving "too much love." And furthermore, the love you feel for yourself once you accept that you have made significant progress in your journey while living this life will forever and always feel one million times more freeing than any external validation ever could(although i am still a hugger teehee).

I look at this picture sometimes, and usually, it would make me kinda sad. This little red-headed boy right here has been through a lot of pain and difficult experiences since he got hold of this camera. Some of it was very much self-inflicted, and some of it was not, but regardless, it's going to matter as much as I make it matter, and right now I'm making it so that it doesn't mean shit.

I performed my ASS off this year. I was casted in about 7 shows, including my first high school UIL One Act Play, and I am currently taking my first steps into college auditions for theatre programs across the country. I am thrilled and terrified and so many other complicated emotions, but I know that the amazing, kind, and talented people that I have met and that I have gotten closer to this year will be by my side every step of the way.

To those that I have inspired and also to those that I have perhaps hurt in some way, I truly could not begin to realize how much I needed all of you to be in my life until now. Both the human being and the performer that I am and will continue to be is all because of you. Thank you. by @lukeeixofficial

Well, I can't say this past year went exactly the way I wanted it to, and frankly, that is yet another irrational goal that I somehow manage to set for myself all the damn time. But it is 100% true that I have accomplished so much and have met, embraced, and befriended more people than I ever have in my life.

I once believed, for a specific time that feels a lot longer in your head than it really is, that I had little to no reason to exist. That all I could do was copy the decisions of someone else, and that would give me value.

Now, I can't say all those feelings have gone away completely, but they're getting a bit easier to tune out with every passing day, which is certainly a big improvement. Regret, self-doubt, isolation, all of it is overshadowed by passion, whether coming from myself or from seeing it come out of one of y'all.

In short, I'm glad that I'm still kicking and doing what I love most. And there is no amount of apathy or cruelty in the world that will ever make me quit. That's on periodt, bitch. by @lukeeixofficial
