To the game of baseball, I never believed that I would sit here and write this. Saying goodbye to this game is something I never thought would come. From a young age I had the dream of being a professional player, wanting to make money doing the thing I loved the most. This journey was never easy, countless hours of work, 8 am game times, 200+ pitch weekends, all of it made me the person I am today. The most adversity I’ve ever faced came from playing this game, but I could never complain about my experience. I was absolutely blessed to be able to play this game for 15 years without any major injuries, but getting that phone call from the doctor changed everything. Elbow pain was something I’ve always feared, and now ultimately it has caused me to stop playing this game. I’m forever grateful for the memories, teammates, coaches, teams, and lifelong connections I have made. Thank you baseball. ❤️⚾️ #narp #thankyoubaseball taken in The End by @lukegallet
