Baseball brought me to Kokomo. God changed my life there. Forever grateful to both. by @lukehanson23

My first mission trip with my church crossroads and wow what an experience I had! This trip challenge me and made me question a lot of things I thought I understood. We spent time with kids in the orphanage and outside of it with so little compared to myself but yet they were overflowed with joy and faith. Something I learned was a child-like faith. Even in hardship they smiled, praised god and trusted god fully!! I learned God is good in good times but also in tuff times. There is never a perfect circumstance. This experience has changed me and I’m still processing it all. But what I do know is God was there. And he’s not done working in them or me!!
“ So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.”
