I had a clever & witty caption but I wanted to get introspective a bit ..

What you see here is almost 10 years in the making. Started out with a bunch of gentlemen with Caribbean or African backgrounds enrolled in the CUNY pipeline. Then one day Jerry West (he know who he is lol) had an idea of an ugly sweater Christmas party that turned into a group chat that turned into our first event in 2018.

In 2020 we had a set back as most if not all businesses did that caused the birth of our first brunch (our most stress-free event to date lol) to this year having our biggest set back ever with a postponement that hit us like a ton of bricks. We maneuvered the best we could on the fly and provided the people with a pop-up event because the support is infinite.

I probably can speak for all of us when I say the best feeling is seeing the joy we bring to our patrons and friends, to the efforts we provide in the community by giving back the best we can. I can go on forever to be honest but if you made it this far thank you again 🏌🏾‍♂️
