2026. Where the fuck do I even start?

I’ve been around the world twice. Maybe more. I’ve been in and out of Europe more times than I’ve been in and out of my own fucking front door. At this point, I’m a guest in my own house.

Some days, it feels like I’m just treading water.

My brain’s got more people living inside it than I’ve got in my fucking phone book, and these last couple of weeks have probably been the hardest mentally since I left the military.

But fuck me, it’s been a ride.

One hell of a year.

I’ve got everything I ever wanted — and probably more than I ever thought I’d have.

And I reckon in five years’ time, I’ll look back at 2026 and think: fuck, that was the year that made me or broke me.

Well, it’s not going to fucking break me.

No matter how hard the universe, fate, bad luck, or whatever mythical bastard people believe in tries to push me down, I’m getting back up.

Every. Fucking. Time.

I’m going to keep moving.
Keep winning.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

And with my wife and my girls behind me, I’ll take on the fucking world.

2026 isn’t finished yet.

I’ve been around the world, faced situations I never thought I’d survive, and lived through moments that changed me forever.

I’ve lost people, lost parts of myself, and questioned what came next.

But I’m still here.

And that matters.

Leaving the military can be harder than people realise. One day, you have structure, purpose, brotherhood and a clear mission. The next, you’re expected to return to normal life with all the answers.

Sometimes you feel lost. Disconnected. Angry. Exhausted. Like nobody understands.

But you are not at the end of your story.

If you’re struggling right now, keep fucking going. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Sometimes the mission is simply getting out of bed, asking for help, or making it through one more day.

The military may have shaped you, but it does not have to be your final chapter.

There is light ahead. There is purpose beyond the uniform. There are new people, places, opportunities and memories waiting for you.

Don’t let one bad chapter convince you the whole book is finished.

You’ve survived everything that tried to break you so far.

Keep moving.

H&M Protection Services is currently recruiting experienced and professional Door Supervisors for a long-term assignment in London, commencing Saturday 31st October 2026.

We are looking to fill the following permanent positions:

FULL-TIME – 2 Door Supervisors
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Minimum 8 hours per shift
• £19.00 per hour
• Ongoing work for the foreseeable future

PART-TIME – 2 Door Supervisors
• Friday and Saturday every week
• Minimum 8 hours per shift
• £19.00 per hour
• Permanent ongoing weekend work

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional individuals looking for consistent, long-term security work with H&M Protection Services.

Requirements:
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work as part of a professional security team
• Previous door supervision/security experience preferred

Start Date: Saturday 31st October 2026
Location: London
Rate: £19.00 per hour
Minimum Shift: 8 hours
