This little piggy went to… SLAUGHTER! 🐷

How could I not! I have been a @ladygaga fan since day one. From The Fame Ball in 2009 to The Mayhem Ball in 2025. She’s a constant source of inspiration and I’ve wanted to do a take on the meat dress for YEARS.

I saw Gaga in her Las Vegas residency in 2019; which also had an exhibition of some of her most iconic looks. Seeing the look in real life was such a gag (photos included).

When I saw the brief, I had no doubt. I knew immediately what I would do and I knew exactly who to contact. @lukeslyka is such a creative genius, I reached out to them immediately and they’ve really turned it out!

I didn’t want to just recreate the same dress; I wanted there to be a pissy take on it. Real art doesn’t just imitate, it builds on its inspirations.

Again, I created the set myself, it’s all made by hand. Zero AI, no creative edit. Just paper and a dream.

ONE PHONE CALL

Created by London costume designer @calum.macniven, One Phone Call turns a holding cell into a stage of transformation — where fantasy and fallout collide. Halloween here isn’t about dressing up, but what happens when the mask won’t come off. 
Shot on film and digital by @amarriedcouple at @peanutfactorystudio, the story unfolds like a dark fairytale under harsh light. Six characters, SFX makeup and hand-built looks blur the line between costume and fashion, tragedy and comedy. For Macniven, Halloween is “a celebration of the alternative.” Horror, he says, “is constantly underestimated… a horror film can be so smart and people just think it’s scary.”
