There is never a good time to have children and I feel like we were never ready to have them but thank God we were dumb and irresponsible and didn’t wait for the “right time”. Nothing in life is greater than these 3 and getting to do life with @alli_sode. by @lukesode

Dear Dr. Jordan Peterson,
Today, I told you that you’ve changed my life, and when you asked me how, I knew I didn’t have time to elaborate. So I said, “Well, I grew up milking cows, and now I have an incredible wife, three amazing, healthy boys, and I’m flying planes across the country, meeting people like you and your wife.” But that barely scratches the surface.
The truth is, I’ve endured dark times, and your wisdom kept me going—like when I was stuck in Afghanistan during COVID while my wife gave birth to our second son alone. You helped me mend my broken relationship with my father, bringing our family closer. You’ve made me a better father, enriching my sons’ lives. My wife and I have grown closer, guided by hours of your teachings on marriage and parenting. You gave me courage to pursue my dreams, teaching me that life is suffering, but we choose what’s worth enduring.
Our CrossFit gym, built on your principles—like comparing yourself to who you were yesterday, not others today—has transformed lives, including mine, and brought health to our Kentucky community. You brought me back to reading my Bible and attending church after years away, anchoring my faith. I’m far from perfect, but your guardrails keep me on track, aiming at a target, as you taught me.
