New DP music video work with the legend himself @mohiallen for Hold The Brews 🎥 . . A wicked creative day on set with this one, amazing vintage location, great concept, a few camera toys, good people, experimenting with new ideas and techniques, laughs all through out the day every time the song ended, and of course a couple shenanigans for the BTS content. Thanks so much to the whole team coming out on a weekend and making this one happen! Could never do any of this with out the team, friends and support from the rental houses, lucky enough they are all one in the same these days 🙏🎥 . . This shoot was such an amazing coming together of talented people to make it all happen, from the make up team, to the location, our talent, our crew, the music playing on set while everyone was running around like mad men and women getting everything ready, it was just one of those ones when on the drive home in the peace and quiet you cant help but think “Hell yea dude, Hell yea” 🙏🔥 . . Two years ago a few days before Halloween in 2024 an amazing team came together to shoot a narrative music video project. This was and still is one of my favourite projects to date, the story, the crew, the in camera effects, the make up, the location, the vibe. It was one of those ones where you just had fun, everyone was out making this thing for the right reasons, to scratch that creative itch and to make something different 🎥 . . The music video follows @dertysesh and his three mates in a post-apocalyptic world where a radiation virus has taken over humanity and only a few humans remain uninfected. Sesh and his crew find out Squid Grow Biopharmaceuticals are developing a cure, the only way for the last of humanity to survive and avoid the nuclear new age is to go steal it for themselves, and to share it with small amount survivors left on the outside ⚔️🎥 . . A massive shout out to @kaysey_taylor and her team @cear.ah @sarahjgally who absolutely brought this vision to life with their amazing make up work, I’ve never seen make up work like this before and when @lukeysp00ky and I saw it on camera we knew we had something special here. New short film DOP work 🎥 . . Georges new short film “He Seems Nice” was a proof of concept for his feature he is currently developing, a physiological thriller that makes you second guess who is being hunted and who is the hunter! . . New TVC work with Halter, what an unbelievably awesome adventure this was! Earlier this year Stockman + French Duo teamed up with Fleur Swarbrick from Triple shot to take on full production for their first ever TVC, launching their new direct to satellite network service Omni 🛰️ . . We started from scratch with creative direction and lots of coffees, pre production, post production, and shooting across 2 countries with a timeline of 6 weeks from start to final delivery! It was an amazing challenge that brought on new team members, New experiences, travel to the USA, Travel to some of the most beautiful places in NZ, International team work, banter over zoom, banter in the utes, and of course banter on farm! Thank you to Cece Paredes and the whole team at Halter for having us and we look forward to the next one! . . New Work: Awesome day out on set working with some lovely people and lovely animals recently 🎥 . . The goal for this USA branded spot was to create a high key summers day look in a tight space, while still holding some contrast for shape. This was the first time lighting animals for me, so it was super interesting lighting for fur rather than normally for people’s skin. @starlight__nz and I had some fun switching it up and lighting 80% of the scenes with mirrors out on the balcony to help accommodate for the small space inside, this gave us more of natural sunlight fall off onto our talent as they ran around the room in every direction 🤣 . . Part two of @mohiallen new visuals and song I NEED U drops tonight at midnight 🥳 swipe left to hear a sneak peak and some of visuals in motion . . This is the second visual for Mohi’s current album, @lukeysp00ky had this awesome idea for creating Mohi’s mind in this custom built box by art director legend @jtlwestauck, with this scene we wanted to create a city back alley night time visual. We leant heavily on Art, costume and a custom lighting design to help bring this look to life. Loved working on this project with the team, to create and build 5 different worlds inside the same box was a real challenge but loved every minute of it 🙏🏼🎥 . .
