From blowing my knee out 3 weeks prior to a finish line in Central Park. But hey, I wasn't letting a silly knee stand in the way of the NYC Half!

For this 4th of July, I took the Touareg to its ancestral home: the hallowed grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair.

I told myself the only way I’d ever make this trip was if I got to see someone who actually performed on that original stage. When Carlos Santana announced he was coming to town, I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

In 1969, an unknown 22-year-old took the stage and blew everyone away, especially with 'Soul Sacrifice.' Hearing that exact song played live on the very same dirt was absolutely unreal. taken in Bethel Woods NY- Woodstock by @luketheg
