Gorgy little visit to this old girl with my old girl ❤️
Very lush weekend checking out some new Australian opera. Man I love music. And new work. And having talented friends. taken in Opera House, Sydney Australia by @lukevolker90

ATN at FOO!
Another wild, stressful, breathtaking #FestivalOfOutbackOpera for the books. Glad our little show could be a part of it. Making music with this team is a big dope-soak, and when our audiences join in, well, that’s just magic. 🥰
Photos shamelessly stolen from all and sundry.

Another regional tour in the bag…
@operaqueensland’s ALL TOGETHER NOW! Big skies, big voices, big personalities and a whole lotta heart. Grazie tante to all our community choruses, and especially the young ones who always make our souls sing. ❤️

This woman spent way too much money and travelled way too far to see my commercial conducting debut, but it did make the whole thing more exciting knowing my biggest cheerleader was in the house.

Love you so much @kayedvolker. Thankyou for everything. Get home safe! 💛✨ taken in Arts Centre Melbourne by @lukevolker90

Two more on Ngunnawal Country today to finish out our tryout period. Thrilled that folks are loving it, and thrilled to be playing beautiful music with genuine superstars @dobinson.james and @_anniesilva_. On to Rundoon! 💛✨ taken in Canberra Theatre Centre by @lukevolker90

Boy & Bird. Just one of what feels like a hundred thousand tiny musical moments @dobinson.james has created for this production. This might be one of the simplest, the two of us tagteaming motifs on Piano & Celesta, but when we nail it it works like magic. I am absolutely biased, but the man’s a genius and it’s a complete privilege to watch him work. 💛 by @lukevolker90
