It has been a season of encouragement for music this time of year; If it weren’t for allergies I recon this album would be recorded by now however I’ve been sitting on this catalogue for the better part of 2 years now and I think it’s about time.

thank you to all the people who believed and have encouraged me this past two years. And although I’ve pushed this collection of songs back for a season or two now, I have scrapped, rewritten, played em for friends and cried to them alone.

Going to start recording song #1 next week and I’ll see ya on the other side. by @lukewillybryan

Had a fast engagement with a ranch out north
Been Missing out on school for whatever it’s worth,

I’ve been working on myself with an axe and a saw
The man I used to be is getting ready to fall,

Recon there’d be harder times along the way
but this Itch has got an attitude and means to stay,

I’ve been pleeing to be seeing all the fruits of my labor
From a sip of my beer to the swing of my hammer yet
I ain’t Jesus Christ but I’d bet I’d be nice to know the reasons for these harder times,

My mind has yet to be kind in these times
Thinking of the way you highlight scripture to the
Way that you curl your hair on a Sunday night,

The devils got a way of turning vibrants to grey
From the happiness inside me to the way that I pray…

Funny seeing everyone I’ve known graduating recently. School is an old friend with an ugly face I hadn’t seen in 4 years yet for me there’s no complaints. A place for some people yet it wasn’t for me. Just a few shots I got on my drive down to Texas from Montana, (Mostly Montana and New Mexico)
I’ll never forget the smell of that Texas air
With rolled down windows through Amarillo.
Recon I’d write more but I’m all out of rhymes
