✨STORY TIME✨

I used to launch in my online course business, which often meant creating INSANE amounts of content for social media and generally putting a shit ton of effort into generating leads so that I could fill up each cohort.

And after a few years of that I had insane, debilitating burnout.😵

It so bad that I didn’t work for a full year - no content, no launches, nothing.

As I lay in bed crying and looking at dog videos, I thought my business would die but honestly, I didn’t care. I was done.

🧐And then I started to notice a little miracle.

Before going 🫧POOF, GONE🫧 I had been creating videos on YT and linking them to some of my products, including courses.

💅🏻 And those products kept selling, even though I wasn’t lifting a finger.

📈In fact, my channel saw serious growth during that year and my business thrived.

And so came the AHA moment

🙋🏻‍♀️ It's been a while since I've posted on here - NEWSFLASH: I'm more of a YouTube lady.

But I MISS YOU! So today I figured we'd pop a bottle of wine and spend some time.

I'm Lu. Short for Luciana. People say it's a pretty name but it's quite common where I'm from!

I was born in Brazil but grew up in the 305. Studied comm and biz at UM and then went back to the land of bossa nova and caipirinhas in 2008.

I've been my own boss for 12 years. It all started with a fashion blog, which turned into Social Media consulting, lots of digital marketing advice on YouTube, online courses, and the Insta hustle we all love/hate.

And then I had serious burnout. I spent almost 2 years without posting on social and somehow my business kept thriving.

How, you ask? While I spent my days crying and looking at doggy videos, my YouTube channels kept growing - and selling!

So in mid 2020 the A-HA moment happened.

I realized we spend so much energy trying to create content on here every day that we forget that there's a social media platform next door that does all the work for us, even when we're sleeping.

That's when I decided to help other women create digital businesses that work for them, using their life experience to gain financial and geographic freedom and claim their time back.

Fast forward to 2022 and since I had all this freedom myself I did the only possible thing and made my biggest dream come true: I moved to New York!

Oh yeah, I also love chocolate chip cookies, especially the really gooey kind that gets my teeth all dirty. I have a pitbull named @lolalevypit and always order more pizza than I can eat, so I have about 12 slices stacked in the freezer.

And I don't hustle on Instagram anymore.

All this to say that you, too, should be a YouTube lady. You can build your dream business (one that works for you and not the other way around) and my mission is to help you do that. And have fun along the way.

I’d love to tell you I can spot these 3 signs in 3 seconds because I’m very smart.

I can spot them because I used to do all three, Migs, for years.

I had seven offers and sold a different one every week. I was busy, visible, and completely unable to tell you what I actually did for a living. And every word of it was in MY words, not my clients’.

So my income was wildly inconsistent, and every time a month went quiet I added one more thing.

It’s very hard to read the label from inside of the bottle, so I wrote down the way I read a business from the outside.

To start, I’d go bigger with my goal 😂

Because what is actually possible with your online coaching business is as good as your wildest dreams.

My first six months in business in the US did $492k. From zero, in a country I had just moved to, in my second language.

(Olar! I’m from Brazil!)

BUT I also know exactly how that lands when you’re not making consistent $10k months yet.

My very first program ever made $2,904, so I have stood exactly where you are standing, Migs.

So let’s get you to ten.

If I were starting again today these are the things I’d treat as absolute NON-NEGOTIABLES to get there fast.

A confession: for years, every time I thought “I’ve already said this”, I’d go quiet or go build something new 😂

But here’s the thing you already know, you’re just too scared to believe it: they haven’t heard it.

You’ve heard your own offer nine hundred times. They scrolled past it once, on a Tuesday, while making dinner.
