As my two yr anniversary comes up from being shot, looking back I’m so thankful for how far the Lord has brought me, & grateful that He decided to have mercy on me that night, & continues to have mercy on me everyday. I’m no perfect saint trust, but by the grace of God He keeps me going, He corrects me, encourages me, directs me, & most of all He still loves me despite my flaws. I thank the Lord that all He desires is me. & that He chose me to be an example of His love & transformation power. If you knew me in the world, you know that I was prideful, a gossiper, a fighter, lustful, addicted to drugs, a bad friend to some, jealous of some, I had hate and unforgiveness in my heart, but what y’all might not have known was that I was hurt, betrayed, used and taken advantage of in more ways than one, unloved & envied by family members & friends, broken from deaths around me & relationships, that all played a part in taking pieces from my heart. All the while I claimed to know & love God. I even talked abt Him to others more than anyone I knew. But after I got shot I was forced to face myself, & I realized how shattered I was inside & how far I had fallen away from the tree, so I started to seek God truly for the first time ever & I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t really a follower of Jesus Christ, I actually was a hypocrite that THOUGHT I knew Him but the truth is I didn’t know Him at all.

“If we say that we have fellowship with Him, & walk in darkness, we lie & do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭
“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” & does not keep His commandments, is a liar, & the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

I realized.. I didn’t truly love Him, bc I was living a life FULL of sin, I was walking in darkness & disobedience to His word & that broke by @lull.sara

4 things Jesus Christ didn’t die for🫵🏼

There’s absolutely no reason why as Christians we should be believing that Jesus Christ died just so we can go to Heaven and forgive our sins. It just doesn’t even seem like a God thing to do, to leave us the way we’ve always been without giving us a solution?

GOD Himself intervened for so much more than that! It’s almost common sense but we live in a generation where the things of God have just been so watered down and the power of God is hidden under the rug to the point where more than half of the body of a Christ don’t know the truth. Why in the world would Jesus come and do miracles, heal the sick emotionally and physically and cast out demons just for things to go right back to the way it was before He came? It just doesn’t make sense. He came to change our lives NOW, not just so that we could inherit eternal life after we die. He has called us to so much more! A life full of love peace and power!

But you wouldn’t know this if you never seek Him for yourself. Friends and family, the time to get right with Christ is now, if you don’t have a relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ you will not see Heaven.. don’t be deceived into thinking God will accept you for who you are when His command is to be reborn. There is so much more waiting for you on the other side. Freedom, healing, sobriety, marriage, joy, peace(no anxiety or fear), true friendship, love, power, JESUS. Get to know Him while you still can.🤍

Dear 2024,
You weren’t gentle, but you were necessary.. You taught me strength I didn’t know I had, wisdom I didn’t know I needed, & priorities I didn’t know mattered.
This year I learned that GROWTH and LOSS can coexist.

This year had a lot of ups & downs,
a lot of really good & fun times that I’m extremely grateful for, & here are just a few. A lot of love, happiness & gratitude & just learning more about my Abba. Furthermore, I am extremely blessed to call KCD my family, God knows I needed them for this journey.❤️

However, this year has also been very hard,
there were many days where I felt like my back was completely against the wall & I had no more strength left to keep going on this walk with the Lord. But He was with me through every month this year, keeping me sane & pouring out His grace on me, & He’s still with me now. Towards the end of this year I learned the true meaning of “joy”, what it means to have peace in the midst of chaos. To be able to look at all the good and not pay any mind to the bad. Although there were many nights I cried myself to sleep, the Lord was my comforter and tho there were many times I turned my face from Him He continued to pursue me. No more of that this year. This year I give my word that I will not run from my Father, I will be slow to speak & quicker to obey.

“Things are about to get a lot better” He tells me, “Just trust Me.”
The tears you cried in 2024 are watering the seeds you’ve planted for in 2025.
He is so kind. Then He told me..
“I didn’t carry you through this year just to let you down. I didn’t help you up to this point just to leave you. Even if it seems like I’m silent, have FAITH that I’m working on your behalf. Every single one of your tears are visible to Me, and I hear your prayers. If you let Me, I’ll walk with you every year of your life. I love you.”

May the silent battles of 2024 transform into 2025’s loudest victories.
Thank you Jesus for changing my life and calling me higher than what I thought was possible. As hard as things can get, there’s nothing else in this world I would rather be doing than serving You. by @lull.sara

2nd year spending the holidays in Christ and it honestly couldn’t have been more filled with joy and peace. Thank you God for your unfailing love, the faithfulness to the covenant we’ve made, and the people you’ve surrounded me with. To many more years and eternity with you My Love🤍 by @lull.sara

Let’s talk the reason for the season.🌟🎄
Let’s talk about the man who’s’ whole purpose was to die in our place and then raise 🆙 again.🤴🏽
The lamb slain before the foundation of the Earth.🐑Jesus Christ, who is God in human form, came down to earth to offer himself as the payment for our sins but most importantly to pave the way back to The Father, bc God being as HOLY PERFECT & PURE as He is, could not be in the same presence as us because of our ONE act of disobedience that separates us from Him. He came to sacrifice His blood in place of ours, where we caused pain in our own and others lives, He took on that pain, where we felt rejected and unloved, He received the most rejection a man ever could, He took on all the sins of world in the way that He died… if you ever want to know how badly God deals with sin look at the death of Christ. BUT GODS LOVE! Paved the way for us to have a relationship with The Father and be in right standing with Him again when He sent His son. It’s only by JESUS CHRIST that we have freedom from our pain, heartaches, addictions, strongholds in the mind, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts.. shoot, He’s the only way we have eternal life after death! There’s a reason why He’s “The way, the truth, and the life” bc there’s no other WAY that was made for you🫵🏼 but the blood of Jesus Christ that was poured out. No other person that would go through all of that just for YOU. Everyone else, as much as people can say they would die for you..if it was the way Jesus did, they would’ve given up. But the whole plan of God from the beginning of time was to show His love through sacrificing the thing that meant most to Him, His son. This, this GOOD NEWS is why we remember the birth of Jesus Christ bc it’s this in the shortest form that saves us from all death spiritually and physically.✝️

This is what changed my life & now I live to tell this story of the man who was born to die a gruesome death for ME! As we get ready to enter a new year & come to the end of this year, I want to encourage everyone to meditate on what God has done for you just this year & really make some goals to get closer to Him going into the new year.🫶🏼 by @lull.sara

1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.✝️ Psalms 40:1-3❤️‍🔥
