Omen
Oil on Canvas

I wanted to capture the feeling of magic when witnessing a sign from the universe. Like finding a small pool of water in the drought of a desert. When we doubt our internal power all we have to do is silent the mind and tune into our visual perceptions. There are always signs in our external environment we just have to pay attention.

Silence enhances Perception
Oil on Wood

This painting is a part of 5 pieces called a pentaptych. These are a my personal subconscious portal/window shapes and are meant to take the viewer outside of their regular perception. During grad school I really began to question our perceptions and how this channel we get to tune into becomes our ultimate reality. What we focus on determines our experience, the more in tune we become with our own spatial awareness the more we begin to “see”. Hyperspace can be used to describe this landscape where shadow and light clash in unison. Inspired by imagery seen in my dreams this painting marries the light amongst the void and the truth that lingers when we are silent to life’s amazement

Stuck behind her Shadow
Oil on Canvas

This painting is about healing family trauma and looking within to recognize toxic patterns. Once you can identify it it’s important to release it from controlling how we identify with ourselves. No matter what anyone has gone through in their life they are not what happened to them, they are who they become.

Im having a sticker sale! Link in bio, if you want to avoid Etsy fees message me directly
Each sticker is $6 , are waterproof and hand made.

My goal with this sale is to make enough to reopen my shop. I use to have an art store but I had to close it due to low sales. Life has its ups and downs but I’m not giving up on the dream. The paintings have evolved, my products have evolved, and I have some new and old followers on here that have been so supportive of my work in the past. Every time I show up I use it as a learning opportunity and there is so much growth from this experience.

Interconnectivity
Oil on Canvas

This painting marries golden ratio theory with flow state. I’m inspired by how pattern is mimicked throughout different landscapes like water and sand. I question this mode of creation and where this comes ,the mystery within the void.

Dissociate
Oil on Canvas

This painting is about my struggle with dissociation and anxiety. Feeling trapped within the body, losing myself as if walls are closing in are states of being that I have experienced.
I tried to play with the question of what it means to be an identity since I felt so disconnected. When you collapse all we know about our fundamental human experience we recognize our essence is more powerful than the thoughts we use to identify it, it becomes a feeling.
The mystery is the greatest wonder, kind of like the blackhole. I’ve been using them in my work lately because I believe they best describe this duality of chaos and mystery.
I’m doing better every day, getting the proper help I need to tackle my PTSD symptoms. Art has been a wonderful outlet. Thanks for reading if you made it this far ❤️

These past two weeks have been incredible for sharing my art. Im so grateful for being able to join the wonderful surrealist community in LA. Feeling so proud that I’ve made it to this point of my art journey. I wish I took more pictures of all the incredible art I saw at the group exhibitions, it’s an honor sharing space with these inspiring artists.😭

There is nothing like being completely silent with the world you get to build as a painter.

Reweaving the Structure of Reality
Oil on Canvas

This experimental piece marries chaos and control. It is the moment where we recognize how interlinked we are to what we perceive and how nature is a constant reminder of our humanity and purpose.
