One of two who started it all. Zeus Biggalow❤️🐾

On September 23, 2015, we rescued Zeus from a local shelter, where he had been spending his days confined to a crate. 🙁 We brought him home thinking we were saving him…but I had no idea how much he would save and change me.

Zeus became my soulmate dog. ❤️

He showed me everything I needed to know about pitbulls, the loyalty, the goofiness, the huge personalities, and the unbelievable amount of love they have to give.

Around that time, I remember reading a heartbreaking statistic claiming that only 1 in 700 pitbulls in shelters made it out alive. Whether or not that number tells the whole story today, reading it changed something in me. I knew I wanted to help.

Zeus became the reason I started advocating for and rescuing pitbulls and other breeds like them. The dogs who are so often overlooked, misunderstood, or simply run out of time.

Almost 11 years later, he’s still here. Still my boy. Still my soulmate. And every foster who comes through my home has him to thank for starting all of this. 🥹

Before Zeus, there was Sadie. 🤍🐾

Technically, my very first pitbull.

Malaya gave her the name Sadie, but somehow she quickly decided she belonged to Dad. 😂 She was the definition of a Daddy’s girl and Nico’s dog.

Sadie was my first introduction to this breed, the big heads, the bigger hearts, the loyalty, the goofiness, and the way they completely become part of your family.

I didn’t know it then, but she was the beginning of something much bigger. Sadie was the first pittie to make her way into our family and our hearts.

Sadie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on June 18, 2024. We miss her incredibly and continue to rescue, foster and adopt pitbulls in her honor 💔🐾🌈

Every story has a beginning.

Gabby, now Xena is living her best life in a House Full Of Love ❤️ She is already a Velcro hippo to her new Mom @d.breann95 she also get lots of love from her new man Chico 🐶 Protector of two 👧 🧑 kiddos, and surprisingly 2 cat siblings. She is spoiled and her mom is already buying her pjs and Halloween costumes🤭

Guess who’s turning 14💙🐾 With Rescue dogs we don’t always know their Birthdays so we celebrate on his adoption day. 9/23/15 he was 3 when we rescued him from a crate at the Humane Society. Bogie, now Enzo Andrew Robinson, is Officially adopted. He is now part of the Buju Robinson Pitbull , With Big Ears, LEGACY. 🐶🤭 His new Mom, Briana waited 6 years for a dog like Enzo. I noted in my original post about Bogie (Enzo), that he was saved 3 times for a reason and for someone special. I can’t tell you how beautiful, loving and special this family is. 🇺🇸 MEET BOGIE 🇺🇸

Hi! I’m Bogie 👋🏼🐾

I’m a 1 YO Malinois/DutchShepherd/ pitbull mix, and my story almost ended before it really got started.

I was rescued from a canal and eventually ended up at the shelter as a stray. Nobody ever came to claim me, and I landed on the euthanasia list. My foster mom was already saving another dog, but she said there was just something special about me… so one day before I was scheduled to be euthanized, she chose me too. ❤️

Turns out, she was right. 😉😂

I’m dog friendly, kid friendly, super smart, and I LOVE to play fetch. 🎾 I’m crate trained, potty trained,great off leash, and good on leash too but still working towards excellence. I learn really fast, just need someone who will keep teaching me!

I’m young, goofy, athletic, eager to please, and apparently my ears enter the room about five minutes before I do. 😂

I got my second chance.

Now I’m just looking for the family I was saved for. ❤️🐾

🩷 MEET GABBY 🩷

Gabby is a gorgeous 6 YO ,blue brindle Cane Corso/Pit Bull mix who recently lost the only life she knew when her owner passed away. She and her family were taken to the shelter, separated, and sadly one of her siblings was
Euthanized. Gabby was saved a day before being scheduled for Euthanasia.

She currently lives with four other dogs and has shown ZERO aggression. She’s incredibly chill and easygoing, but when it’s time to play, she’s all in! She loves playing with the other dogs and will happily play fetch with her humans.

And walking her? An absolute dream. 😇 She’s an angel both on and off leash. She must have had leash training.

Gabby is crate trained, potty trained, and uses doggie door. She’s dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, spayed, and basically comes with all the “good girl” upgrades already installed. 😂

She’s very cautious around loud noises, and is a bit timid around new men. What she needs now is a home where she can continue to feel safe and realize that she doesn’t have to be afraid anymore.

Gabby’s story may have started with heartbreak, but it doesn’t have to end there. I have completely fallen in love with her and know she will make a great addition to any family.

Fosters 13-16 “Winter Litter” was rescued after their owners relinquished their Mom and them to a local shelter in November 2025. Puppies were named Frost, Storm, Yukon, and Aspen.

This was my first puppy litter😬 I really enjoyed these puppies and it was my first time working with this breed.

After 4 days, two puppies started to get sick. They ended up having Parvo. We were able to get them an IV with some volunteers in my home 🙏🏼. We then transported Storm and Yukon to the rescue in SD. They were saved by @spotsavespets, by a new, very expensive, monoclonal medicine. This rescue was Heaven sent and I love working with them. 🐾

I kept Frost and Aspen for a bit longer. All 4 pups went to amazing homes in SD where I remain in contact with Aspen’s, now Mabel, Mom. by @luluspitstop
