Saturday, October 25th
2-5pm
Fort Tilden Beach, New York

I have been making kites
I would like to fly them with you
 and send a message
with the wind
to the sky
 beep beep/getting there, for anyone who doesn’t have a car: A few of us will have cars and will be at Rockaway Beach 105th Street (A train or 3 blocks from Rockaway Ferry) before 2pm to shuttle friends to Tilden.
If you want a ride from Rockaway to Tilden, text me (or DM if you don’t have my number, text is preferred please i don’t love being on this thing!)

Wished a happy 90th birthday to my dad on Saturday, the greatest person of my life. You are my heart, my mind, my family, my world, and my closest friend. Somehow you died on February 5th, and I don’t think I’ll ever fill the giant space nor all the so small in between spaces left howling open without you there to fill them.

A few days before you died, I said ‘Hi Papa’ when you woke slightly, in the hospital — you said ‘hey baby’, so soft with your familiar tone, and those were the last words you said to me. I made you chicken soup and didn’t know it would be your last meal. I can feel your soft hand, your shoulder, your hug, your head and hair, i can hear your voice and see your smile and see your eyes when you see me. I love you more than any words or feelings can express, and i’m so glad and so incredibly lucky that you were in my life, that you were my life. but i still wish for more. I don’t know what happens when we die, but I have never hoped and wished so deeply, sincerely, and desperately that I get to see you again at the end. Love you papa ❤️ by @luluwolf
