BOOK OF LULUYOMS— CHAPTER 46.

Today, I’m filled with gratitude — for life, for growth, for the journey, and for everything God has brought me through.

Not long ago, I lost my job as a Director of Marketing shortly after an illness that required surgery. It was one of the biggest shocks of my life. I had never experienced losing a job before, and honestly, I struggled to understand what God was doing.

There were great interviews, strong possibilities, and opportunities that seemed so close — yet somehow, each one came with its own closed door.

For a while, I was in denial. I kept thinking, “The next job will come. That job will sustain me while I build my business.”

But God had another plan.

His plans for us are plans of good and not of evil. And sometimes, what feels like an ending is simply God redirecting us to the place He intended us to be. So be encouraged.

Today, I stand here as the Founder, CEO & Creative Director of MKoS — My Kind of Style (EmKos).

A fashion house built from the gifts, talents, experiences and creativity God has given me.

MKoS is one of the greatest reminders that when we fall, we can get back up. When one door closes, God can make a way where there seems to be no way.

And today, on my birthday, I’m celebrating not just another year — I’m celebrating “BECOMING.”

Thank you to everyone who started this journey with us.
Thank you to everyone who trusted us and boarded along the way.
And to everyone yet to come — I can’t wait to have you.

There is so much more coming from MKoS.

Get ready for an evolution of God’s grace, gifts, purpose and vision.

They really do grow too fast. 🤎

Somewhere between being my daughter and becoming my little business partner, she has grown into one of my greatest supporters.

On this trip, she has been right beside me — helping coordinate, planning, showing up, and even co-selling with me at the MKoS pop-ups. Watching her step into this with me has been one of my proudest moments. 🥹❤️

And then… we stepped out in MKoS together. 😍

She’s wearing the Rolly Barrel Pants and I’m wearing the Doja Pants — two very different expressions of the same MKoS energy: bold, effortless, unapologetically stylish.
