Awesome day @_long_n_strong meet with a big 3 foot PR! Must be it’s because it’s my first ever meet in throwing shoes? Great competition, great people, great food (thanks @flavor_76 for the amazing food!) Very grateful for the opportunity given to compete in another meet, and hopefully it continues for many years to come. #trackandfield taken in Shippensburg University by @lumberlordthrows

Some unedited footage into the chaos that unfolded after my 3 inch PR of 45’1” (finally jumped into the mid 40’s!!!!) Might’ve promised some people that I would jump into the creek behind Messiah if I PR’d, causing my last two throws to be thrown in shoes with 2 inches of water in them…somehow even producing a 43’5” on my last throw despite the conditions. The Messiah All-Comer meets have truly been a great experience for me, and I’d personally like to thank Coach Cornelius for setting the meets up and Coach Logan for giving me insight to what a throwing career could look like at Messiah University. I’d also like to thank Ted, an athlete at Messiah who’s encouraged me throughout these meets and watched me improve and provided tips for me. Overall, I’d say these meets are definitely worth the drive, and hopefully will continue for the foreseeable future. taken in Starry Field, Messiah College by @lumberlordthrows

3rd Messiah Meet, another day another 43, today being not 1, but 2 43’5” s, with a foul on the third. While not as good as week 1’s, I definitely feel like I’m starting to get into the groove of things again. Glides starting to feel smoother. Next Tuesday is going to be the final Messiah meet, and I’m really hoping for a 44. taken in Starry Field, Messiah College by @lumberlordthrows

Not a super great day for shot, put up a 43”3 on my first throw and the next two were fairly bad. Still grateful for the opportunity Messiah College has given me to throw. Hopefully, a week in the woods camping and chopping wood will help me get past this 44 (then hopefully 45!) hump. taken in Starry Field, Messiah College by @lumberlordthrows

Had a ton of fun today at the Messiah All-Comer meet! Best mark of the day was. 43”11 1/2 on my second throw. Got to mess around with the 16lb shot and threw a 36 flat (unrecorded). Give me tips in the comments, looking to break 45 soon! taken in Starry Field, Messiah College by @lumberlordthrows
