My husband couldn't support what he couldn't access said someone in our market research.

That line changed how I think about my own marriage.

In 2020, new mom, no support system, COVID lockdown, my husband working nights. I thought our problem was communication. Turns out it was infrastructure. Everything keeping our family running lived only in my head.

He couldn't help carry something he couldn't see.

That's the whole reason Aligna App exists. Not to fix people. To build the infrastructure that makes the invisible, visible.

Last night, @usealignaapp was honored to receive the LaunchVT Audience Choice Award. 🏆💙

As a founder, there are countless moments of uncertainty, late nights, pivots, and questions about whether the problem you’re solving truly matters.

Then there are moments like this.

A room full of people heard Aligna’s vision to make the invisible mental load visible, help families share responsibilities more fairly, and create more connection and less overwhelm and they voted for it.

This award isn’t just for me. It’s for every parent who’s carrying too much. Every partner who’s trying their best but feeling unseen. Every household that’s ever thought, “There has to be a better way.”

I talked with @aiempoweredmom about blending cultures in my family. How my culture influences my design philosophy and approach to highly personal interior design aesthetics that are unique and not trendy. We discussed blending cultures in my family and celebrating Halloween and Diwali - "Diwalloween" together. I teach my daughter Rangoli, which symbolizes beauty in temporary phases of life. And as Sarah and I discussed, AI helps me with cultural architecture in my family.

Last night with @vtwomensfund, I felt the spark of what happens when women gather, share truth, and lift each other higher.

💫 An inspiring founder story from Kerry O’Brien of @wearcommando — breaking boundaries, taking risks, and proving that resilience is the secret to navigating uncertainty.

Reshma reminded us of the work still ahead:
🔥 400,000 women left the workforce in early 2025
🔥 Families still struggle for paid leave + childcare
🔥 Algorithms shape the way our sons see the world

But here’s the hope—this isn’t just talk. $359K in grants to 39 nonprofits this year is proof of what collective power in action can do.

Home is more than a place—it’s a community we build together. And last night, I witnessed it in full bloom.
