More sleep = better brain health? Even if sleep aids help you get there? 🧠💤

In this video I break down one of my favorite studies of 2025 (Mayo Clinic Study of Aging, Neurology). It followed almost 2,800 older adults and found that people with insomnia who slept more had fewer white matter changes on MRI. And at the very least, it found no harm in insomnia patients using sleep aids.

It's an observational study, so it shows a link, not proof, but it's reassuring news if you've been afraid to treat your insomnia.
