I'm not big on visiting grave sites because I don't believe my loved ones are there. It's just dirt. Their souls are free, not 6 feet deep. However, my Uncle Mike took me to see his mother (my grandmother) and his nephew (my brother). As most of you know, Damon died in a motorcycle accident over 20 years ago, and this is the 1st time I've been back since the day of his funeral. It was only fitting that I visited on 2's. I may never go back, but I now know how to get back there if I do want to visit both my grandmother and my brother, who are right next to each other. Thanks, Uncle Mike, and thanks, Uncle Lamar. I was visiting family because of your death (Uncle Lamar), and I ended up getting to a place where I haven't been in a very long time. The Earth, Wind & Fire song is for you, lol

A lot of memories here! None bigger or more tragic than losing my brother, Damon, in a motorcycle accident at this intersection, July 31st 2002. One week after his 24th birthday. You'd think this would keep me away, BUT no! Being on 2 wheels takes me away. The focus it takes to be out in these streets is intense. I'm locked in, so whatever I have going on doesn't exist outside of just trying to get my fix and make it back home. All of my motorcycle posts might seem sudden to you, but I've been a rider at heart since I was in elementary school. I'm 41 now. I was able to make my imagination come to life in May of 2022 when I got the Z9! I'm here! Ride or die!
